NorthWest Paddle Rentals is a locally owned paddle board rental in Sedro-Woolley, Skagit County. We live here, we paddle here, and on good summer evenings we'd rather be out on the water with our people than doing basically anything else, which is exactly the problem we set out to fix.
Renting a board used to mean driving to a shop across the county, standing in line, and hauling gear on a roof rack, by which point the wind had usually picked up. So we skipped the shop. Our boards live in numbered lockboxes in Sedro-Woolley: your booking buys a code, the code opens your kit, and the inflatable board fits in your car so you can paddle wherever you like. Clear Lake and Big Lake are minutes away; Lake Whatcom and Lake Padden are an easy drive north.
What You Can Expect
Every kit gets checked at the start of the day: board pressure, paddle, leash, and, for kid kits, a US Coast Guard–approved life vest. If a kit isn't right, we pull it off the booking calendar until it is. You'll never unlock a box and find a problem someone else left behind.
Weather calls are ours to make, not yours to gamble on. If we cancel rentals for sustained wind, lightning, or unsafe water, every affected booking is refunded in full, automatically. If your plans change, tell us 24 hours ahead and we'll refund or reschedule, no questions.
